Peter has over 25 years experience in the Medical Devices Industry, spanning management responsibility roles in Business Development, Operations, Quality and Engineering. Prior to his role as Non Executive Chairman at Rockfield Medical Devices, he was the CEO of Aran Biomedical, where he led and restructured the company, ultimately leading it to a successful acquisition by Integer in 2022. He is a non-executive board member of numerous Medical Device start-ups. Peter received a Degree in Industrial Engineering & Information Systems and a Higher Diploma in Quality Assurance from University College Galway.

Founder & CEO

Tomás Thompson, Founder and CEO of Rockfield Medical Devices, intimately understands the challenges of tube feeding. Driven by personal experience, he has built an expert team to bring an innovative tube feeding system to the market. With over 15 years’ experience in the healthcare industry and a proven track record in SME business development, Tomás leads with strong vision for game changing, user-friendly, mobile enteral feeding systems. He holds a degree in Business and Education from ATU Galway and an MSc from Ulster University. Tomás's strategic leadership and commitment to healthcare innovation define his approach, as he spearheads the development of cutting-edge tube-feeding solutions to improve patient care globally.

Conor McNamara

Conor McNamara

Board Member

Conor McNamara is an independent Strategic Corporate Advisor specialising in the Medical Technology Industry, providing advisory services in corporate strategy, financial strategy, and transaction advisory to multiple companies along the corporate lifecycle from early start-ups to corporate exits. He has prior experience working in venture capital and held senior financial roles in the MedTech industry over the past 20+ years. He serves on the boards of various medical device companies and also advises on M&A transactions in the Medtech sector. Conor is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds postgraduate qualifications from the University of Oxford.
